Turban Phobia

The Washington Times printed this photo of Elena Kagan yesterday with the caption “Elena Kagan and Sharia”:

The fear continues.

    She's an example of how communist govt led by Obama can exert power to control all the govt and judiciary functionaries…She's an opportunist, as she proved by back-tracking on her previous position on revealing the political disposition, and an incompetent for her role if you read her answers to the dumbest of questions asked by dumb Congress men.

    @H S
    Please share specifically how
    – Obama administration is communist
    – Kagan is incompetent for her role
    And why
    – "She's an opportunist, as she proved by back-tracking on her previous position on revealing the political disposition" disqualifies her from the office she is seeking

    @Sahaeli
    I think that cartoon conveys concern for Sharia (if at all) rather than the fear of the turban

      Cool down. There are hardly any people who want to satiate your urge to full fledged debate or publication of paper by citing references etc. Know the difference between comment and essay (or paper). This reply is also for your acting as a judge in the post of "Disputing Sikh Terrorism" or "A [Simple] Langar". It's not my fault if you don't know about the current affairs or if you are not familiar with the definition of communism or socialism. You better suggest TheLangarHall.com to add a feature in their website for publishing papers or writing essays on opinions with references. Those interested will participate and you won't have to ASK for references and about your ignorance of who said it when and how! Care to read and know, and I don't care about anymore of your ignorance. Enough said. Period.

        Thanks for the response.

        " Know the difference between comment and essay"
        – You have all the right to write anything without justifying or providing evidence. Point noted.

        "Those interested will participate and you won't have to ASK for references"
        – If I don't ask, they may not provide.

        "and about your ignorance of who said it when and how"
        – Well, Google is a friend. Not sure what is your motivation to post anonymous comments, but mine is to learn something from knowledgeable folks, based on actual facts. If you can help, great.

        "There are hardly any people who want to satiate your urge to full fledged debate or publication of paper by citing references etc."
        – I know. That is why I am on this blog, otherwise I would have been in the library or a bookstore. Though speaking with Sikh/Punjabi scholars, political analysts, bureaucrats, religious institution leaders has helped.

        "It's not my fault if you don't know about the current affairs "
        – I wish I could know as much as I want to. I am so overwhelmed by RSS feeds, news aggregators etc.

        "Cool down"
        – Thanks and Ditto. If you are not able to provide information / facts, that is fine, I am not going to "fail" you.
