Too funny - I do have a pink striped dress shirt but there was no girl pressure involved at all. I went to the store, tried on the shirt, I had my doubts but the salesgirl said it looked hot….oh [Removed By Admin Kaur: Using swear words is strictly prohibited on The Langar Hall]

My apologies - "s#!t" has fallen off my radar as a swear word and it didn't cross my mind it would be considered offensive. Point noted.

Daniel Craig is no metrosexual. He’s the meanest and toughest Bond ever, more in keeping with the original 007 as envisaged by Ian Fleming in his book.

Amen.

Hey Nicole -

You're preaching to the choir :) What you've said makes complete sense. And I agree with the comment re confidence - too many girls have made the same general comment about confidence being attractive for it to be coincidence.

I guess what I was trying to say was, a lot of guys now feel the same societal pressure to wax, and pluck, and shave etc. that most girls have felt for years.

Oh yeah.... There is this song that reminds me of how guys used to be and in many ways should be lol it’s called "I'm still a guy" by Brad Paisley. It describes guys the way they used to be in a great way so listen to it if you guys get the chance. It's country, but give it a chance anyways. In his words, "I don't highlight my hair, I've still got a pair, yeah hunnie I'm still a guy".... haha perfect!

Maybe the fact that I'm from California's central valley has something to do with it, but men should be manly men. No facials, no pedicures, no manicures, no "fair and handsome" (so gay), no highlights, no eye brows plucked, none of that. If a guy has a talk about manicures or pedicures with me, I want to throw up.

I have nothing against clean guys, that’s fine showers are essential and so is deodorant and all other acceptable hygiene for males. But if a guy has to go get his nails cleaned from the same lady I go to, lines have been crossed and he has gone to the point of no return.

P. Singh - I can understand what your saying about guys trying to do what girls think is sexy. But sometimes sexy is an attitude which comes off in an appearance. If that makes any sense! I mean he could be in a t-shirt and jeans and if his attitude screams confidence indicating he is more than just comfortable in his skin, that’s sexy. A guy that can say no to a girl demanding he wear a pink striped dress shirt because that’s not his style, that’s even better.

Reema: Yes I am implying that metrosexuals cannot be manly men! I am sure while they are getting a pedicure they sing this song

P.Singh: Haha, I don't know enough about Daniel Craig. The media is labeling him as the 'metrosexual Bond,' so I just went with it. He definitely is no Sean Connery.

KPrincess: I sure hope it isn't hear to stay! I am waiting for the pendulum to swing back. Then this self-described 'scrub' will be normal again.
