Also at this time i would like to thank Red Cross Board member Tejinder Mann and his tv station Punjabi Waves for allowing us advertise our participation in the Parade. Our amazing Adult Volunteers Rob Jones, Sue Davey and Red cross drivers Rojer Hollis and Mike Hardesty helped make our day worthwhile and pain free(except sore feet). I don't want to forget our student volunteers who walked the parade route on sunday and then somehow managed to go to school the next day. It never will cease to amaze me the amount of dedication our volunteers show to this wonderful organization. As long and as tiring as the Nagarkirtan was never once did the similes stop from our volunteers. All of our pictures exemplfy the positive and dedicated attiude of our volunteers, both students and adults.

The River Valley Red Cross club is proud to say that this year's Nagarkirtan was a great success. People donated and were very welcoming to us. Our club has all Sikh Girl officers and we have been told that our community is very proud of us from one of the Members of the Yuba City Gurudawara committee, we are very thankful to Tajinder Dosangh for this complement. His enougagement along with the invaluable patience of our wonderful Three River Chapter CEO Martha Griese has helped make particiaption in the Yc Nagarkirtan possible.

It is awe-inspiring to see Sikh youth (actually college-aged) take such an active role in shaking the community out of their slumber when it comes to the events of 1984.
